Join us for a full-day seminar on intellectual property (IP).  Two award-winning IP attorneys will hold sessions on patenting, contracting, licensing, and enforcement of IP, and they will be available for private sessions from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.  In addition, Adam Erlich, CEO of IGENECO, a firm that has been highly successful in turning IP into profits, will hold a session to explain sales and marketing for high-tech companies.  Strategic planning and tactical implementation are crucial to maximize the return on your technology.

Jacob (Jesse) Erlich

 

Prior to being with Burns & Levinson LLP, Mr Erlich was a partner with Perkins, Smith & Cohen LLP, and before that he served as the Chief Patent Advisor for the United States Air Force.  He represents a wide array of clients such as universities and technology companies.  Mr. Erlich has contributed to numerous publications, including Technology Development and Transfer -  The Transaction and Legal Environment, and Aspen Law & Business's  2000-2006 Licensing Update.  He is a member and past president of the Boston Patent Law Assoc, on the Board of Directors of the National Defense Industrial Assoc, and maintains an active membership in many other legal organizations.  Jesse Erlich is on the faculty of the Advanced Licensing Institute at Franklin Pierce Law School and has been appointed to the U.S.-Israel Science and Technology Commission Task Force:  Legal, Patent and Intellectual Property Rights.  He received his undergraduate degree from the Polytechnic Institute and his JD from the Georgetown Law School.  He is listed in Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in Intellectual Property.  He has been selected as Massachusetts Super Lawyer in 2007, 2005 and 2004. www.burnslev.com/our-attorneys

 

Howard J. Susser

Adam Erlich

 

Adam Erlich was the Director of Sales and Marketing at Digital Optics Corp. and was instrumental in growing their revenue 5000%, which put them in the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing companies in the country.  He has extensive experience in intellectual property includes working with Fish & Richardson patent law firm and EKMS technology licensing firm, earning a patent agent registration, and writing several holography patents.  Adam is a published author and has received a commendation of excellence in technical communication from Laser Focus World.  He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton, a Masters from George Washington University in Technology Policy and Management, and a Masters from Columbia University, where his research work was on the commercialization of new technological paradigms. http://igeneco.com
