Business Assistance

The loss of business from base closure - and the opportunities for new business from base expansion - create challenges for local businesses.

The best place to start is with your local Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

SBDCs are funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration to provide expertise, information, consulting services, and training to small business owners, so they can be more successful. All counseling is confidential and provided at not cost to the business owner. There is a nominal fee for workshops and seminars.

All SBDC advisors are knowledgeable about the local community and the resources available to small businesses.

Use the small business resources in your area to help you maintain your customer and financial base throughout the defense transition process.
